Scars

Scars serve many purposes.

Scars remind you of your sins and those souls you destroyed and hurt.

Scars reflect the innocent blood you shed as you used people for your own selfish gain and deceived them.

Scars can also remind you of how you abused God’s children and His Word by how you wasted your life and that of others.

Scars!

Scars can also remind you of the lies you told to God, others and yourself in your pursuits of the flesh and materialistic gains.

They cover a wound but true healing comes of the wound comes from submission to God’s Word and following it so that He heals them from the inside out. We only try to conceal them by acting like we didn’t do anything wrong and forging ahead in our lives never reconciling with those who you hurt which does not align with The Word!

Yes! Scars serve many a purpose.

Godly men know how Jesus taught us to deal with them. The ungodly and babes in Christ do not, so they choose to not address them according to His Word.

Here’s a tip! Godly men know the Word, practice it and put into action the steps required of them by God when they have aught with others — seek forgiveness, make recompense and reconcile. When those things are done your scars begin to disappear and you sin less. Acting as if you don’t have to follow God’s Word is again an abuse of His Love and Grace.

When flesh-directed men seek their own cures and remedies and skirt around God’s guidance and directives, disaster follows of their own making! Those scars never heal truly because you still aren’t doing what The Word requires of you!

God hates those who bear false witness or lie— stop it and seek forgiveness from those whom you took advantage of with your lies!

God said do not commit adultery— stop it and seek forgiveness from your spouse.

God says the man who divorces his wife murders her—Whoever divorces his wife, except on the grounds of porneia (sexual immorality), makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”(Matthew 5:31-32)

The Pharisees question Jesus, saying: “Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for any cause?” And Jesus answers by attributing that command to their “hardness of heart” (Mark 10:5) and appealing to the order of creation found in Genesis, concluding that man and woman are not two but one (10:8), and that what God has joined humans should not separate (10:9).

The disciples go on in Matthew to say to Jesus, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.” And Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.” In other words, if you are truly living by God’s Word, you will follow it and not make light of it or Cherry-pick what scriptures you will live by because by ignoring your sin by acting as if you don’t have to atone for it, you live by the flesh and not by God’s Word.

When we write, blog, share, or speak about The Gospel or give or write our testimonies make sure that your own life reflects what you share with others. Never give advice based on your ideations, especially when they Do Not align with God’s.

May Your Faithfulness Be Rewarded

Many seek to have riches and material possessions to flaunt or compete with their peers.

Taking pleasure in the simple things that God has blessed them with is never quite enough.

They chase wealth, fancy cars and motorcycles, McMansions and bank accounts overflowing. Glamorous clothes, spouses and bedazzle themselves in jewels, and fake body parts. All obtained through deceitful ways, stepping over others, hurting people in their pursuits and a cold-blooded wickedness of satanic origin.

These are the ones that when they fall, they hit rock bottom. Their pursuit of worldly glory and possessions was the root of their demise.

They forsake God on their climb upwards. They betrayed those who stood by them and defended them. They stepped over others, lying, cheating and leaving a trail of broken hearts and spirits behind them.

They have missed out on His lasting blessings due to their unrighteousness and wicked behaviors. They forsake God’s Word in their dealings with others.

May we be ever mindful of God’s rewards for those who adhere to His guidance and directions for living. There is a huge blessing that awaits the faithful followers.

If You Love God…You Must Love Your Spouse

I knew a man who had several wives and many lovers.

When asked of him what was the cause of the ruination of his many relationships, his answer always pointed the finger at the many women in his life. Fault never fell on his shoulders. Even to the point he fabricated lies that he could no longer keep straight in his own head!

The Old Testament teaches us of God’s Commandments, which includes God’s Law against bearing false witness, Covetedness, adultery and killing (murder).

As he recanted how each relationship dissolved, which always had an overlapping story of another woman entering his life during the midst of his current marriage or relationship (until he would subsequently also replace her), I looked at him in the midst of his oblivion to what he was actually revealing about himself as those Commandments ran like a movie streaming back-and-forth across my mind.

As he professed his belief and Love of God, I was struck by his disregard for God’s Word and lack of commitment to abiding by what he swore to be the cornerstone of his life!

His ability to toss a human soul about and dump it as if trash, only revealed his lack of Love for God, despite the words that proceeded from his mouth.

The sanctity of marriage is not to be toyed with if we are true believers in Christ. Christ Himself admonishes husbands to love their wives as they Love the church and He IS THE CHURCH!

People today marry and divorce changing spouses and engaging in adultery as if there are no consequences for their acts! They have been deceived by those who themselves do not truly serve God with their heart and soul, and made to believe that marriages/spouses are expendable and interchangeable.

Brothers and sisters do not be deceived by Satan! He is the architect of all lies and it is a lie to believe that you can divorce your spouse (except on the grounds of adultery/infidelity) and not face God’s consequences. If you believe in The Father, then His Word is true and His directives against divorce are in both the Old and New Testaments. A true believer knows that and will adhere to it. An unfaithful follower will not!

Stay the course. Finish your race. Uphold your vows and work out your marriage differences without outside interference and divorce.

Watch and See how God blesses your marriage, your life, and your family for your obedience. He deserves no less!

Lord, help me to convey Your Truth so that others will be blessed and their Christian walk strengthened by the hearing of Your Word! Amen 🙏🏽
