The price of obedience is not for the faint of heart.
True believers and followers of Jesus Christ felt that sacrificing their very lives was but a small token of their Love of Jesus for His blood sacrifice and the forgiveness of their sins!
Waffling back and forth between obedience and sin is the true definition of a backslider! Backsliders never achieves their purpose and God’s plan for their lives because they lack the faith, knowledge and true commitment to The Word of God. Their inability to stay on track and adhere to God’s Word, no matter the cost or loss of wealth, fame, parents approval, family or friends, causes them to always fall short of attaining their purpose because they bow to the world and sin.
Choose this day whom you shall serve. Satan and sin, or The Living God who forgave your sins and wants to elevate you and use you for Kingdom building.
Lord, we have fallen short and our lack of faith and our unbelief that You are able to do all things and You never fall, has kept us treading water and never achieving our purpose in life due to waffling between two worlds… Your Kingdom and the world of sin. Redirect our feet onto the path of righteousness and living by Your Word, even if we must correct our steps to be in alignment with You! For it is better to live by The Word, than languish in sin. Amen 🙏🏽
