Have you been saved? Were you washed in His Spirit? Did they baptize you in the water? Did the saints lay hands on you in prayer?
The power of salvation is life altering. It is life changing, life sustaining and transformative! When Jesus enters your soul and He deposits His Holy Spirit inside of you, sin can no longer dwell with the indwelling Christ. It is impossible for Jesus, who is sinless, to reside with what is sin. Something or someone has to give.
Your walk, talk, life, and prayer-life is always under attack by Satan and his minions as a child of God. Daily your witness and walk are under attack which is why those who have received the Gift of Salvation must daily seek refuge in Him.
We thank God for His Mercies which are daily, but let us not take His Mercy on a rollercoaster ride of backsliding either! For to do so diminishes your appreciation of His forgiveness of your sins, makes a mockery of your walk of faith, and can turn away those who need Him when they look at how you are living your life.
We all have so much to be grateful for when we become saved. It’s a gift we can NEVER repay!!! It is supposed to be our treasure, our heart’s greatest desire. Just like Jesus instructed husbands to love and care for their wives letting no one or nothing put their marriage asunder, that is how much we should protect the blessed Gift of Salvation!
Playing with God’s transformative Grace, playing with marriage, abusing your vows and covenants with God and those who you profess or professed to God to honor, love and protect, makes you, your Christian life and witness hollow. All talk and fluff. No truth to your witness.
God cannot get the Glory out of our lives when we abuse His Love, Salvation, Grace and Forgiveness. You must stop your cycle of sin and move to the cycle of Life in Jesus Christ.
If you TRULY know the Power of Salvation. If you TRULY appreciate the peace, joy, love, and beauty you felt on the day of receiving His Spirit inside of you —— awww Glory Hallelujah it was FREEING from sin and the ungodly of this world —— then NOTHING and No One should EVER cause you to turn back to where you were delivered from!
Not spouse, not mother, not father, not sister, not brother, not grandparents, not aunties, nor uncles, not even your own children!!!!
You see, mama didn’t and couldn’t save you! Papa couldn’t deliver you from your sin! Husbands or wives couldn’t wash you in the power of His blood! Children couldn’t fill you with His Indwelling Spirit. The World only leads you on the path of destruction and disobedience of God, not obedience to Him!
Only the blood of The Lamb, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, had The Power to transform our lives. Only Jesus was able!!!!
Do not devalue His Work on The Cross!!
Do not Diminish the Gift of Salvation that blessed your life by spending your life backsliding! Make right your wrongs and seek forgiveness from those whom you have harmed. Do it now before it’s too late! Stop lying and nuancing the truth, God hates lying tongues.
Recommit your life to living Holy, and by His Word. Walk what you profess, don’t just write about it….live it! Writing or speaking that you love The Lord, but privately you cause God to weep, makes you a liar and fake believer. You play with God’s Grace and Mercy. Humble yourself before Him. Truly seek His face. Restore your life to servant hood. Restore your marriages. Restore your relationships. Get real about your witness before it is too late.
God’s Grace is a POWERFUL aphrodisiac that made sinners into lifelong saints!! It caused Kings to bow down to slaves. It moved immovable mountains. It turned a blind eye to our filthy lives and covered us in Christ’s Holy Blood so we could approach God’s Throne of Grace!
His Grace is the most precious and life-altering present you could ever be privileged to receive.
Don’t abuse it!
