When God created woman, He purposed that she would serve as His vessel of demonstrative Love. In her role, she would, through her pain, usher in new generations of His children. With that honor bestowed to her, He entrusted woman to serve as His Ambassador of Love, showing His children what it means to Love unconditionally. But more importantly He entrusts us to create a home atmosphere that embodies Christian values and virtues so that woman could develop and raise up an Army for God’s purpose and Kingdom building.
The most treasured and time-tested gift a mother can give her child(ren) is The Word of God.
It is the food that stifles hunger pangs. The drink that quenches all thirst. The knowledge that sustains during the most difficult and trying trials and tribulations.
The Word is Love and the seed that God expects mothers to daily plant and tend to in their offspring. Mothers (and mother-figures) that want their children to be blessed of The Lord know that it begins with them raising up their children in the knowledge and Love of The Lord. It is the solid foundation that is not destroyed when demons attack and the strength to weather their trials having the confidence that “troubles don’t last always!”
If you were, are or will be a mother treat this responsibility with great humility and humbleness. It is not to be taken lightly nor treated flippantly. You will be held accountable on Judgment Day for how you managed it. Your guidebook is always available to direct and advise you. The more you are seen by your children studying and using it, believe me that “planted seed,” will one day be their resource as well. And that, Ambassadors of His Love, will be your legacy.
