A Season for Healing, Forgiveness and Renewal

Our Christian journey is a road that we traverse taking us through different seasons in our lives.

We go through seasons of infancy, growth and prayerfully maturity as we grow up in God’s Word. Along the way we ask for, seek and give forgiveness as God forgave us and we were reconciled with Him. We also experience emotional, physical and mental healing through broken hearts, broken bones and broken minds. We also are constantly being renewed in our faith daily as God takes us from glory to glory by stripping us of those things that are of no use to His Kingdom and are not edifying to the Body of Christ.

These “seasons” are like climbing a mountain. We look up to where we want to go knowing that if we look back from whence we came too long, we can lose our footing and stumble/tumble backwards forfeiting all the important gains we have made.

Each of us goes through seasons of change. Changes that God is taking us through are for our good. Changes we seek without consulting Him and The Word first, always end up not being for our benefit resulting in self-imposed trials and tribulations that delay us getting to where God wants to take us.

During your time in prayer with God, ask Him, “Lord, show me, speak to me, open my eyes and sharpen my ears to hear Your Voice so that I might be led to where You have purposed me to go! Abide in me always as I sojourn this road and provide for me opportunities to share Your Good News and to be a help to others no matter the season of life I should find myself in. No matter if by Your Righteous Hand or my foolishness, use me Lord, use me, to Your Glory!” Amen 🙏🏽
