Thank you Pennsylvania. You were the ‘Key’stone to prayers answered, course correction for our nation and the rebuilding of key institutions to help our citizens like public health, social services, the financial systems, and more.
Georgia, Nevada, Arizona we know you are next as the voices of the people have resounded across the nation in the majority for change and demonstrated the integrity of our voter system. As every vote was and continues to be counted, the numbers don’t lie. The nation wants and has delivered a change for the Common Good of the Country.
Time to heal. Time to bridge the divides. Time to address the underbelly of racism and domestic terrorists who seek to undermine this country and its stability. Be on the alert and if you see something, say something. Someone thwarted an attempted gun assault on vote counters in Philly’s Convention Center in a vain attempt to stop the vote count.
Time to rebuild. Time to take our public health crisis seriously. Time to address the disparities felt by the disenfranchised, poor, illiterate, homeless, and more.
Biden can’t do this alone. It takes God, prayer and the will of the people to undue this damage and both mend and sew back into the fabric of this nation those persons who feel defeated at their candidates loss. As in the time of Lincoln and the Civil War, it is incumbent upon us all to no longer sit on the sidelines but to actively engage in this healing process and rebuilding in our communities through active participation or initiation of Town Hall discussions, outreach events, seeking public office, working as mentors, tutors, in our church-based organizations and more.
Put your faith into action for as Christians we are called to action at this pivotal moment in USA and world history because our footprint goes beyond USA borders.
