The stronger you grow in your walk of Faith, the larger the target on your back for Satan.
The devil will pursue the weak in spirit in order to use them in spiritual warfare so that he can attack the stronger ones in faith around them.
“Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,” Hebrews 12:12
I learned the hard way that not fervently praying everyday over your household and all its members, creates an opening for Satan to come in.
When my other half, my husband, fell into divers temptations in adultery, covetedness, and began committing ungodly transgressions, I was blindsided that the head of our house whom I upheld and was sure of his strength in The Word, had backslid into behaviors God had delivered him from and was on the path to spiritual destruction.
He opened the door to Satan into our marriage, facilitating Satan’s plan to steal, kill and destroy what God has done in our lives. It was spiritual warfare and Satan had infected him which meant his target was me too.
As my husband Kunle and I were united as One by God, killing my husband in the spirit would affect me too and I wasn’t going to allow that to happen as he needed my prayers to help pull him out of his sin-sickness. For, when one in the body is sick, we are all subject to the fall. It is at this time that we have to magnify our prayer life. Having a consistent, fervent prayer life is the only path to: 1) pleasing God; 2) growing closer to God; 3) avoiding sin; 4) having prayers answered; 5) staving off Satan; 6) protecting and covering your household; 7) expelling Satan from your life; 8) receiving guidance from God on the path you should take; 9) hearing God’s voice; and 10) gaining strength for the spiritual battles ahead.
As women of God, we are dear to Our Father as we nurture, Love/love and mind His children. God trusts us to step in when our husbands fall and lose their way and due to sin, cannot lead the family. This is when our knees darken from kneeling constantly in prayer. Our bodies lay prostrate before God begging Him to hear our cries and pleas for His Divine intervention so that our loved one’s paths are course-corrected. The Word tells us to pray for the weak and those overtaken in sin and we as women and prayer warriors, God expects us to pray our loved ones out of their disobedience, darkness and sin back to God’s marvelous Light.
Women of God never lose hope or give up on your loved ones for your strength covers their weaknesses if you remain consistent in prayer and enjoy a strong prayer life with God, in the end, no matter the amount of time it may take to pull them out of their muck and mire, God Will! For He is Able to do the impossible if we have faith and believe it done before it ever manifest sin the physical. God only wants to see how bad we want it. He wants to see the conviction and faithfulness from us about the issues we lay at His Feet!
I encourage all women to Suit Up ladies and put on the Whole Armor of God in order to battle on the spiritual level for the lost souls of our Loved/loved ones. Amen 🙏🏽
