The mountain was the meeting place with Jehovah.
If we desire an intimate relationship with Him, when we come to Him in prayer it is necessary for us to not be worshipinganything or anyone else other that Him.
We need to have integrity in our lives. It is necessary that our hands are clean. That is, that we have dealt honestly with everyone and not been deceitful.
Our hearts are to be pure. That means that we are not thinking about fleshly lust or revenge or being arrogant towards others.
